Acme Give Back Helps Logan Schools & the Environment

LOGAN TWP. — Acme Markets is presenting shoppers with an opportunity to give back to their local community and help to reduce single-use plastics by purchasing a special reusable bag at Logan Township’s Acme Markets.

Logan Township Home & School League will receive a $1 donation for every $3 reusable Give Back Where It Counts Bag purchased at the Logan Township location on Center Square Road in May.

“There is nothing better than supporting two great causes with one shopping trip!” said Kimi Taylor, Home and School League Co-President. “This innovative program will help us bring our students some great additions to their school life such as more activities, supplies and water filling stations all while increasing awareness to the need for reusable shopping bags. We appreciate being chosen by our local Acme Markets for the Give Back program.”

May’s Give Back program also coincides with the upcoming enforcement ban on single-use bags for shoppers starting May 4, 2022. The Acme Give Back Where it Counts Bag in May will allow shoppers to go home with a reusable bag for their future shopping experiences while providing aid to the local non-profit chosen by Acme Markets leadership.

The Logan Township Home and School League, a non-profit organization founded in 2006, runs multiple fundraising events throughout the year as well as year-round fundraisers aimed at providing Logan Township School District students with educational, physical, and emotional learning support.
