The Gloucester County Library System (GCLS) is celebrating Library Card Sign up Month with a fun new systemwide initiative. The Passport to Reading program invites you to visit each of the GCLS Branch Libraries in September.
In order to participate, go to your local GCLS Branch Library and pick up your passport. The passport is your official guide to all five branch libraries including one independent association library.
With passport in hand, plan your visit to the library. As you visit each library, present your passport and library card to staff at the front desk along with an item to check out. Upon doing so, staff will stamp your passport and provide you with a GCLS 2022 commemorative coin. Once your passport is fully stamped, return it to your home library and be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize.
If you do not have a library card, stop by any GCLS Branch Library to sign up and begin your passport journey. The Passport to Reading program runs Sept. 1st through Sep. 30. All ages welcome.
GCLS Branch Libraries are located in Glassboro, Greenwich Township, Logan Township, Mullica Hill and Swedesboro. One independent association library is located in Newfield. The Passport to Reading program is open to GCLS card holders only. For more information and instructions visit www.gcls.org or call 856-223-6050.
