Aug.1: Officers responded to a construction site on Rt. 322 for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime over the weekend, someone entered an unlocked shipping container and stole two pipe lasers. Total value of the Theft is approx. $15,000.

Aug. 2: Officers responded to Gastrol on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee provided false information as to his identity and left with approx. $5,000 cash. The employee had used fake identification to obtain employment for several days, and once he had the money, he entered a maroon Buick and fled the area.

Aug. 2: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 130. While conducting the stop, Officers learned of a handgun in the waistband of the driver. As a result of the stop, the 21-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with Possession of a Weapon. He was charged and released with a future court date.

Aug. 4: Officers responded to Gastrol on Center Square Road for a report of counterfeit money. It was reported that the suspect received $50 worth of gas, paid in counterfeit $5 bills, and left the area.

Aug. 4: Officers responded to Gastrol on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that the suspect received $51 worth of gas and left without paying.

Aug. 6: Officers conducted a Motor Vehicle Stop on High Hill Road. While conducting the stop, it was learned that the driver provided false information as to his identity. After investigating and learning the identity of the driver, Officers arrested the 19-year-old Woolwich man for Hindering Apprehension. He was released on a summons with a future court date.

Aug. 10: Officers responded to Village Center Dr. for a Theft report. It was reported that while the victim was patronizing a business, someone stole their Dynacraft mountain bicycle from in front of the store. Estimated value of the Theft is $200.

Aug. 11: Officers responded to Taylor Farms on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that someone had stolen a Stihl concrete saw valued at approx. $3,000.

Aug. 11: Officers responded to U-Haul on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that overnight, someone entered the property, stole a trailer, and returned it several hours later. Through investigation, Officers charged a 32-year-old Logan Twp. woman and a 38-year-old Logan Twp. man with Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Trespassing. The female was released on a summons pending a future court date, and the male was lodged in the Salem County Jail.

Aug. 13: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect loaded up multiple shopping carts with items and left the store without paying. Once confronted by employees, the suspect fled the area, but was located shortly after. The 42-year-old Penns Grove woman was arrested and charged with Shoplifting. She was also charged with Theft of Credit Cards after a search revealed several cards that did not belong to her. She was processed and lodged in the Salem County Jail. The value of the items stolen is estimated at $1,900.

Aug. 16: Officers responded to the Holiday Inn on Pureland Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime overnight, someone stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle. The value of the converter is estimated at $3,000.

Aug. 16: Officers responded to Gastrol on Center Square Road for a report of counterfeit money. It was reported that the suspect received $60 worth of gas, paid in counterfeit $5 and $10 bills, and left the area.

Aug. 17: Officers responded to Dr. Schar on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that someone had stolen 20 spools of copper wire and tubing valued at approx. $20,000.

Aug. 18: Officers responded to Home Depot on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that someone stole a forklift from the facility on 8/12. The forklift is valued at approx. $50,000.

Aug. 19: Officers responded to Miller Trucking on Repaupo Station Road for a Theft report. It was reported that on different dates, someone entered three vehicles and stole the CPC computers. Total value of Theft is approx. $9,400.

Aug. 19: Officers responded to Gastrol on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that the suspect received $46 worth of gas and left without paying.

Aug. 24: Officers observed a suspicious motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Logan Elementary School on School Lane. While investigating the vehicle, Officers observed the driver in an inebriated state along with several open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. As a result, Officers arrested the 20-year-old Pennsville man for Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and turned over to a third party with a future court date.

Aug. 26: Officers responded to Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that a male and female filled shopping carts with food and cleaning items and left the store without paying. Officers were advised that Acme had the 51-year-old Penns Grove woman still on premises, but the male fled the area. After Officers located the 52-year-old Millville man nearby, both suspects were placed under arrest. Officers charged both suspects with Shoplifting and they were lodged in the Salem County Jail. Value of the items stolen is approx. $600.

Aug. 28: Officers responded to ANS Services on Heron Drive for a Theft report. It was reported that sometime over the weekend, someone stole five spools of copper wire from a vehicle on the property. The value of the stolen property is approx. $5,200.
