1,065 residential unit development seeking approval in Woolwich

WOOLWICH TWP. — Woolwich Township’s Joint Land Use Board will hold a hearing on Aug. 17 for the approval of the Kings Landing Redevelopment Plan for a 1,065 residential unit development on Kings Highway and Asbury Station Road in Woolwich Township.
The hearing for the final major subdivision approval and preliminary and final major site plan will be held at 7 p.m. in the Kingsway Middle School West Gymnasium.
Of the planned 1,065 units, 368 are age-restricted and 90 are affordable housing units. The applicant is also proposing recreational areas, walking trails, and over 73 acres of open space.
The application does not require any variance relief, but two potential waivers would be needed for signage and lighting.
