WOOLWICH TWP. – The Woolwich Township Committee tabled once again a resolution authorizing an Execution of Redevelopment Agreement with 2024 Oak Grove Road Woolwich, LLC for the construction of a warehouse on Route 322 and Oak Grove Road.
The resolution, according to Woolwich Township Mayor Craig Frederick, was tabled at their Sept. 18 meeting to allow the committee to review several open items in the plan such as traffic flow and height of the facility.
2024 Oak Grove Road, Woolwich LLC proposes the redevelopment of properties along Route 322 and Oak Grove Road for a 243,360 square foot warehouse. The plan would call for the construction of improvements to Oak Grove Road to accommodate truck traffic.
This property is located in Woolwich Township’s Redevelopment Area located in the Regional Center West Redevelopment Area. This is an area that the township has designated as an area in need of redevelopment or rehabilitation.
According to the resolution, the Redevelopment Law authorizes the township to arrange or contract with a redeveloper for the planning, construction, or undertaking of any project or redevelopment work in an area designated as an area in need of redevelopment or rehabilitation.
