Dec. 1: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pedricktown Road. While conducting the stop, it was determined the driver was under the influence. As a result, the 22-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released to a third party with a future court date.
Dec. 3: Officers responded to Target on Creekview Avenue for a Theft report. It was reported that an employee had his 2006 Hyundai Sonata stolen from the parking lot by another employee. The vehicle was later recovered on 12/9/23 in Philadelphia. The suspect employee, a 33-year-old Philadelphia man, was charged with Theft.
Dec. 6: Officers responded to Tractor Supply on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that the suspect entered the store, picked up two boxes of DeWalt power tools and left without paying. The value of the items stolen is approx. $700.
Dec. 7: Officers responded to Rt. 322 for a Theft report. It was reported that while the victim’s vehicle was disabled on the roadway, the suspect approached to help fix the vehicle. The suspect then stole a briefcase valued at $100 from the vehicle.
Dec. 8: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that an employee was consuming food which he did not pay for. The employee, a 40-year-old Runnemede man was charged with Theft and released on a summons with a future court date.
Dec. 13: Officers responded to Home Depot on Center Square Road for a Theft report. It was reported that a box truck containing various appliances was stolen as it was left running, unlocked and unattended on the side of Pedricktown Road. The truck is valued at approx. $50,000 and the items inside are valued at approx. $17,750. The vehicle was entered NCIC as stolen.
Dec. 15: Officers responded to Cedarvale Winery on Repaupo Station Road for an Attempted Burglary report. It was reported that the suspect attempted to gain entry through the rear window of the business but was unsuccessful. However, there was damage to the window, with the estimated value of repair being $113.
Dec. 18: Officers responded to GMJ Services on Pedricktown Road for a Stolen Vehicle report. It was reported that over the weekend, someone stole an Enterprise box truck from their lot valued at approx. $55,000. The vehicle was entered NCIC as stolen. The vehicle was located on 1/4/24 in Pennsauken and removed from NCIC.
Dec. 18: Officers responded to Miller Truck Leasing on Repaupo Station Road for a Stolen Vehicle report. It was reported that three trucks were stolen from the property sometime overnight. Each truck was entered NCIC as stolen and valued at approx. $35,000 each.
Dec. 20: Officers investigated an animal complaint at a residence on Rt. 130. As part of the investigation, Officers learned that the resident was raising roosters to sell for fighting. As a result, Officers charged the 43-year-old Logan Twp. man with Cruelty to Animals and Use of Animals for Fighting. He was released on a summons with a future court date.
Dec. 21: Officers took a report for a Stolen Vehicle in Bridgeport. It was reported that while the owner was away, someone stole his 2007 Honda Civic from the residence. The vehicle was entered NCIC as stolen and is valued at approx. $2,000.
Dec. 23: Officers responded to the Acme on Center Square Road for a Shoplifting report. It was reported that two suspects loaded approximately $650 worth of groceries into a cart and left the store without paying. They loaded the groceries into their vehicle and fled the area.
Dec. 31: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 295. While conducting the stop, Officers learned the license plate was stolen. As a result, Officers arrested and charged the 39-year-old Browns Mill, NJ man with Receiving Stolen Property. He was released on a summons with a future court date.
