MULLICA HILL — September marks the arrival of Fall. The final market of the season will be held on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., concluding the Main Street Market in Mullica Hill.
The market has highlighted local farmers and increased foot traffic in town. According to Hazel Dilsaver, owner of MH Events, the company that organizes the market and various charity events, the market provides a venue for local farmers to provide fresh produce.
“All the events that we host for town are for charity in one way or another. Fall Festival is for education, and the Christmas House Tour is for local church food pantries,” said Hazel Dilsaver.
The last market will feature squash, late-season tomatoes, baked breads, cookies, soaps, scrubs, and a selection of artisans whose offerings complement those of existing shops.
Bella Grace Coffee and Cafe will serve coffee, sweet goods, and offer live music. Attendees can create bouquets at Mullica Hill Floral Company and purchase macarons at Mademoiselle Macaron.
Free yard games are available at 41 S. Main Street along with street giveaways and family activities.
Plans for next year include expanding the event to support additional farmers and increase the availability of fresh produce.
