SWEDESBORO — In the busiest and most chaotic time of the year, it is important to take a moment to think about how we can help others. You can do this by simply creating a handmade holiday card suitable for a child.

Then drop it off in the collection box at the exit of Botto’s Italian Market in Swedesboro. You may also send cards with your children to any Swedesboro Woolwich District school and tell them to give it to their teacher. In addition, students at Kingsway will be creating cards in mid-December.

All cards are due no later than Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Organizers are hopeful that with your help and support they will be able to donate to more than five hospitals during this 4th Annual Cards For Children In The Hospital project.

With the help from schools in our community, along with local businesses, over 5,000 cards have been collected locally since 2015.
