SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER

Gabrielle Allen

Gabrielle Allen, daughter of Randy and Gina Allen of Mickleton.

School Activities: National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Marching Band Drum Major, Debate Club President, Anti-bullying Club President, Musical, Student Council, Student Ambassador, Interact, S.U.R.E. Club, Peer Facilitator, and a vocalist in the Select Jazz Band.

Out of School Activities:  Gabrielle mentors for InBeTWEEN girls, and she also volunteers at nursing homes and for Ronald McDonald House.

Honors/Awards:  Gabrielle is the recipient of the NBC 10 Widener University High School Leadership Scholarship Award, and she is the Outstanding Delegate at New Jersey Model Congress.

Future Plans:  Gabrielle plans to pursue a career in occupational therapy, where she would like to improve the way people with disabilities live their lives.

Anthony Brasco

Anthony Brasco, son of Scott and Cori Brasco of Mickleton.

School Activities:  Lead trumpet in Jazz and Select Jazz Bands, Concert Band, National Honor Society Secretary, Tri-M Music Honor Society Vice President, Student Council President, Volleyball, Student Ambassador, Dragons Linking Dragons, Foreign Language Club, Peer Facilitator, Chemistry Club, Young Authors, World Language National Honor Society, STEM Activity, and North Main Office Aide.

Out of School Activities:  Anthony has a part-time job at Shop-Rite of Mullica Hill, is an active member in the Church of the Incarnation, South Jersey Volleyball Club, and Leadership Training Conference.

Honors/Awards: STEM Academy.

Future Plans: Anthony plans to attend college for a degree in chemical engineering, with a minor, if possible, in biomedical engineering.  He would like to concentrate his studies and, eventually, work in the pharmaceutical industry.
