Swedesboro’s Popular Food Truck Thursdays Is Back!

SWEDESBORO — Swedesboro’s much anticipated Food Truck Events are back for 2018.

Mark your calendar.  These events will take place on Thursdays, June 28, July 26 and Aug. 23 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Each month will boast at least 15 different food trucks offering a variety of cuisines, including local favorites, Mexican, Asian, seafood, Italian, and other Philly favorites, including vegan choices on many trucks. There will also be at least four food trucks offering sweet desserts at each event for your tasting pleasure.

There will also be a beer garden and wine vendor for the adults provided by one of our local restaurants.

This is the perfect event to come with a group of friends and share and sample many dishes from around the tristate area. Take a night off from cooking and partake in the best new party in the county. No one should go home hungry.

Last year, thousands of locals and out of town guests visited Swedesboro to enjoy this wonderful community event. People came out to enjoy the weather and each other’s company.

Our super-sized lawn games allowed Moms and Dads to challenge their kids at everything from chess to Connect Four, and old and new friends had some intense corn hole tournaments.  Children were able to roam around the Swedesboro Auction Park to check out all the vendor options to figure out what great food they wanted to try first.

In a day and age when there is so little time to actually spend together, the Swedesboro Economic Development Committee has found a way to bring everyone together. These are relaxing nights where people can just enjoy those (few) precious moments together eating, laughing, and meeting neighbors.

Although the Economic Development sets up tents and tables, due to the number of guests that attend, it is suggested to bring lawn chairs or blankets just in case all of the chairs are filled.

Food Truck Thursdays is your chance to head to the Swedesboro Auction Park (located near the corner of Locke Ave. and Fow Ave.) and enjoy some tasty food and drink from a variety of area food trucks and vendors. Free parking is available.

This is a family friendly foodie event with background music to enjoy as you dig in.
