Sara Winters and David Kehoe were united in marriage on Sept, 12, 2015 in a ceremony in Columbus, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of  David and Karen Winters of Columbus, Ohio. The groom is the son of Mark Kehoe and Carolyn Grasso of Woolwich Township.

The couple was married in St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Columbus, Ohio with a reception held at the Scioto Country Club, Columbus, Ohio. The couple is planning a trip to Croatia in the summer of 2016 for their honeymoon.

The bride’s Maid of Honor was her friend, Katherine Gitz. Bridesmaids were Natalie Gitz, Hannah Scheckelhoff, Sara Axelrod, Sara Tabatabaie, Stephanie Salustro, friends of the bride, and Kate Kehoe, sister-in-law of the groom.

Serving the groom was Nick Gattuso as Best Man, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Andrew Kehoe and Philip Kehoe, brothers of the groom; RJ Winters, brother of the bride; Dimitri Athans, Giorgio Athans.

Sara attended Columbus School for Girls in Columbus, OH, graduating in 2007. She then attended The George Washington University in Washington D.C, graduating with special honors in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion.

She was accepted to Teach for America, a national teacher corps made up of recent college graduates who teach in high poverty schools. While teaching in Atlanta, Georgia, Sara graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University in 2013.

Since Teach for America, Sara has worked for KIPP, a network of college-preparatory charter schools all over the country. She is currently a fifth grade teacher at KIPP Adelante College Preparatory Academy in San Diego.

David attended Kingsway Regional High School in Woolwich Township, graduating in 2007. He then attended The George Washington University in Washington D.C. from 2007-2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs. Upon graduation, David entered Flight School in Pensacola, Florida and continued training until his designation as a Naval Aviator in 2013. He currently works in San Diego, flying the MH-60R Seahawk for the World Famous HSM-49 Scorpions.
