Vincent J. Coviello

COVIELLO – Vincent J. Coviello, age 86, of Mullica Hill, died Aug. 19.

Born in Newark, NJ, he graduated from Central High School in Newark Class of 1945. He then attended Newark College of Engineering (now NJIT), and served in combat during the Korean War with the 45th Infantry Division, he was awarded the Bronze Star. Vincent worked at Public Service Electric & Gas from 1953 to 1987, retiring as chief of Electrical Controls Design Group at Salem Nuclear Power Plant. He retired from the US Army Reserve in 1975 a Lieutenant Colonel. He was an avid reader and gifted storyteller. Husband of Norma (nee D’Attilio), he is also survived by two sons Vincent and his wife Carrie, Michael and his wife Mary, and a granddaughter, Michelle Coviello.
