SWEDESBORO — Trinity “Old Swedes” Church is very pleased to announce that their new Priest-in-Charge is The Rev. Frank S. St. Amour, III.
Father Frank will be serving Trinity, Swedesboro and St. Stephen’s, Mullica Hill. Before answering the call for Trinity/St. Stephen’s, Father Frank served as Rector/Vicar for St. Stephen’s, Whitehall, PA, in the Diocese of Bethlehem.
Before that he served in various positions, among them, as Rector in Texas and Senior Associate Rector in Florida. He also served as Chaplain for the Army Reserve National Guard in NY, IL, FL and TX. He was ordained in the Church in Wales.
Father Frank and his wife, Sue, are happy to relocate to this area and look forward to serving both Trinity and St. Stephen’s.
Please join in for worship on Sundays at 9 a.m. The church is excited to announce the beginning of a new year of Sunday School, which also begins at 9 a.m. Teachers, Michele Blair and Kris Kreitzer, are looking forward to meeting new students and welcoming back old friends.

The bible in Psalm 98 tells us to “Sing to the Lord a new song” which we will do at the Swedesboro Jazz Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19 as both the Church and the Parish House are offered as venues for the best jazz music to be heard in South Jersey.
The Trinity “Foundation” will hold its Annual Pig Roast on Nov. 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rode’s Barn. Adult tickets are $16; children (age 5-10) $11. Eat-in or take-out.
All profits benefit the restoration and maintenance of the historic site. Tickets will be on sale in mid-October.
In December, come see what makes Swedesboro still a Swedish town at the old fashioned St. Lucia Festival of Lights on Sunday, Dec. 15. All children in the town are welcome to participate in the pageantry and everyone is welcome to the reception with Swedish saffron cakes after the service. Please contact the church for more information and to sign up your children for this event.
Other opportunities for fellowship and exploring faith will be offered at Trinity throughout the fall including the aforementioned worship at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
