SWSA Heat Takes 1st In Tourney

WOOLWICH TWP. — The Swedesboro Woolwich Soccer Association is proud to announce that the U12 girls soccer team, The Heat, finished in first place in the Deptford Columbus Day weekend tournament.

The team defeated the Logan Lunachicks 2-1, the Deptford Wildcats 5-0, and were able to shutout the Haddon Township Hawks 1-0 in the championship game.

The Heat is coached by Paul Deming, Bob Probert and Ben Komadina and trained by Phil Griffiths from Jersey Premier Soccer. The girls pictured are Bailey Probert, Taylor Campagna, Kylie Sweeney, Megan Deming, Sarah Moriak, Allison Pierontoni, Jada Komadina, Emily Keene, Emily Pierontoni, Kelsey Tirpack, Kennedy Waterson, Katie Carrig, Elyse Norris and Abigail Smith.
