Trinity Pig Roast, Nov. 3 & Musical Celebration, Dec. 12

trinity church webSWEDESBORO — The annual Rode’s Pig Roast has been scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 3. This is sponsored by Trinity “Old Swedes” Historic Preservation Foundation for the preservation and maintenance of the Trinity Church historic site. Dinner will be served from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at The Barn (behind Rode’s Fireside Restaurant).  Take-out dinners are available. Tickets are $16 for adults and $11 for children ages 5-10. The menu includes pork and gravy, salad, roll and butter, pineapple bake, baked beans, baby carrots, a green vegetable, iced tea or lemonade and homemade desserts. Musical CelebrationJoin in for a start to the Holiday Season with a celebration of music by community members and friends on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. The event will be held at Trinity “Old Swedes” Church located at 1129 King’s highway in Swedesboro. Featuring the artistic touch of organ master, Dr. Ted Keifer, with musical selections offered by the Community Choir and Bethesda United Methodist Church’s Bell Choir, this is a free event offered to the community. Parking is available at the Trinity Church lot along Church Street. The building is handicapped accessible.
