WOOLWICH TWP. — The Kingsway Education Foundation announced the first of what is expected to be an annual Toast of the Town event to be hosted by the newest kid on the block – Swedesboro’s downtown but upscale Tavro 13.
Toast of the Town is expected to become the Foundation’s signature event and proceeds will be used to support academic, athletic, and performing arts programs for students attending the Kingsway Regional School District.
The event will feature an array of French wines and craft beers paired with appetizers prepared by culinary star, Chef Terence Fuery. Jazz music will be provided by the highly acclaimed Franny Smith Trio.
The event has been scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by going to the Foundation’s website at http://www.kingswayeducationfoundation.com/toast-of-the-town/. Tavro 13 is located at 1301 Kings Highway, Swedesboro.
