HORTICULTURAL SYMPOSIUM FEATURES THREE NATURE SPEAKERS

master gardener webCLAYTON — Three speakers will be featured at a Horticultural Symposium sponsored by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Gloucester Co., at the Offices of Government Services, on Tuesday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The featured speakers are Doug Tallamy, Art Wolk and Jason Austin.  Tallamy is the author of “Bringing Nature Home – How You Can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants.” Art Wolk is the author of “Garden Lunacy, a Growing Concern.” He infuses his writings and lectures with a combination of horticultural expertise and a sharp sense of humor. Jason Austin, a horticulturalist, authored  “Native Plants to the Pine Barrens.”

The fee for the event is $40 which includes refreshments and lunch, if registration is received by March 1. Late registration fee is $45.
