EAST GREENWICH — The East Greenwich Twp. Environmental Commission and Green Team in cooperation with Clean Communities are sponsoring an open shredding event on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to Noon at the Municipal Building 159 Democrat Road, Mickleton.
Bring your bags and boxes of paper to be shredded. An experienced operator from DocuVault will move the disposal bins to a highly secure, mobile shredding unit where your confidential material will be destroyed as you watch. One Hundred percent of the shredded paper is recycled.
Only paper from residents will be accepted, No businesses. Please no plastic bags or metal including 3-ring binders and binder clips. Staples and paper clips are OK.
So reduce clutter and clean out and purge your personal records. Protect yourself from identity theft while being green.
An electronics collection and intact TV’s are also being collected for recycling.
