logan policeMARCH 20:  Officers charged a 31 year old West Deptford man with simple assault at a youth sporting event as well as a local ordinance violation following a fight at a basketball game at Logan Elementary. Service is pending.

MARCH 21:  Police responded to separate incidents of residents finding hypodermic needles on both Harvest and Beckett Roads.  Police are urging the public not to touch them.  Don’t let your pets come into contact with them and don’t ignore them. It is important that anyone finding a needle in any public area contact the Logan Township Police Department at 589-0911 for proper disposal.

MARCH 21:  Police investigated a criminal mischief complaint in which vulgarities were written on tot lots and township property in the Quail Ridge development.

MARCH 23:  Officers arrested a fugitive from Florida following a Center Square Rd. vehicle stop.  The man, a 29 year old Pedricktown resident, was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in the form of a glass “crack” cocaine pipe.  He was processed and remanded to the Salem County Jail to await extradition.

MARCH 24:  Officers charged a 26 year old Woodbury man with being under the influence of CDS following a disturbance at a Center Square Road food processing facility.

MARCH 25: Detectives charged a 20 year old Logan man with theft from a residence following an investigation on Edward Drive in which jewelry valued at several thousand dollars was stolen over the past week.  The man was processed and released pending court.

MARCH 27:  Police charged a 42 year old Woolwich Twp. man with DWI following a vehicle stop for a violation on Oldmans Creek Road.  He was processed and released pending court.
