MULLICA HILL – The Relay For Life of Mullica Hill will be held on May 5 as part of “Paint The Town Purple” to raise money and awareness for cancer research.
The Relay For Life, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, is where teams walk around a track for 12 straight hours to raise money. The Relay services Mullica Hill, Harrison Township, Swedesboro, Woolwich, Mantua, Logan Township and many other surrounding communities.
Swedesboro Mayor Thomas Fromm and Council have also declared the first week of May to be “Paint the Town Purple” Week and are asking businesses in the downtown area to decorate their exteriors with purple in support of the week.
