SENIORS OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL
RONALD IPPOLITE, son of Ron and Christina Ippolite of Woolwich Township.
School Activities: Football, wrestling, baseball, and Student Council.
Out of School Activities: Fishing and hunting.
Honors/Awards: Football – Coaches’ Award two times, Wayne Winter Award and Adam Taliaferro Game; Wrestling – Russell Leone Scholarship Award; Baseball – Coaches’ Award.
Future Plans: Ronald would like to become a state police officer and join the K-9 unit.
BARTHOLOMEW RICCI, son of Bartholomew and Maria Ricci of Swedesboro.
School Activities: Has been playing ice hockey for the Kingsway Ice Hockey Club since the club first started in 2012, and spends many hours a week peer tutoring in trigonometry and physics.
Out of School Activities: Volunteers with an organization dedicated to the aid of cancer patients, Helen’s Hope. For the past four years, he has played in a league for roller hockey and deck hockey.
Honors/Awards: Bartholomew has consistently earned a position on the honor roll and, as a result, he was accepted into Kingsway’s National Honor Society.
Future Plans: Bartholomew has been accepted to Rowan University’s physics program. His goal for the next four years at Rowan is to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in physics with a minor in mathematics. During this time, he also needs to determine whether he would like to go to graduate school for a Master’s of Science in physics and become a professor or work toward a Master’s of Science teaching certificate and become a high school physics teacher. While attending college, he still plans on tutoring and helping out with Helen’s Hope.
