logan policeJune 9: Officers investigated a burglary and theft in which a cellular phone valued at $600 was stolen from an office located on Veterans Drive.

June 9: Police investigated an overnight criminal trespass and attempted scrap theft complaint at a business on Sharptown Road. Business representatives related that those responsible tried to steal several steel axel covers.

June 9: Officers investigated the theft of (3) Nikon digital cameras and a Dell Laptop computer from a business on Center Square Road.

June 11: A Paulsboro man reported three 48’trailers were stolen from a warehouse on Commerce Blvd. The thefts occurred sometime between 2006 and April 2014. The trailers, valued at $7,000, were entered NCIC in an effort to facilitate their recovery.

June 11: Copper cables valued at $1000 were reported stolen from a business site on Sharptown Road.

June 11: Police investigated a series of criminal mischief complaints in which several locations were spray painted in both the Country Crossing Development and ACME. A 15 year old juvenile was subsequently interviewed and admitted responsibility. A Stationhouse Adjustment, to include cleanup and restitution, was completed in lieu of juvenile petitions.

June 12: A California woman reported that someone had stolen the wheel covers from her rental car while she was staying at the Holiday Inn overnight.

June 13: Officers, investigating an early morning suspicious vehicle, charged three Salem County men with various offenses for their role in stealing scrap metal from a business on Sharptown Road. The men: 44 year old Roy Sutton, 38 year old Kyle Penn and 29 year old Ezra Evans III all of Pennsville were charged with criminal trespass, theft, and conspiracy. They were additionally charged with resisting arrest by flight when they fled the area on foot upon being approached by the officers. Two were arrested after a brief foot chase. The third was located in a nearby wooded area with the assistance of the Logan PD K-9 Unit. They were processed and released on summons pending court.

June 14: A High Hill Road resident reported that someone attempted to burglarize his home over the weekend. Nothing was reported damaged or stolen.

June 15: Officers charged a 30 year old Gibbstown man with credit card theft and theft after he charged approximately $3,100 worth of merchandise on a company credit card after he was terminated from his position. He was processed and released on $5000 bail.
