Produce Vouchers To Be Distributed In Swedesboro

(16-Fresh-Fruit-Veggies-Sign.eps)SWEDESBORO — The County Gloucester County Senior Services will offer $20 in vouchers to income eligible seniors to buy fresh produce at designated local farmers markets. The vouchers will be distributed in at the Lore Drive Community Center in Swedesboro on July 10, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Farmers’ Market Vouchers are for Gloucester County Senior Citizens who have an annual income less than $21,590 for a one person household and less than $29,101 for a two person household. Seniors are required to provide proof of income (Social Security Statement, 2013 Income Tax, Medicare & Pension Statements, Bank Statement or Medicare Card) and fill out an eligibility application before receiving their vouchers. The PAAD card is not accepted.

Vouchers can be used through November 30, 2014. A few of the local Farmers’ Markets that will accept the vouchers are: Ever Fresh Produce, Fruit Valley Farmers Market, G & G Farm Market, Grasso Girls Farm Market, Haynicz Orchardview Farm Market, Maugeri’s Farm Market, Mood’s Farm Market, Platt’s Farm Market, Rosie’s Farm Market, Schaub Farms, Sorbello’s Farm, Visalli Scattered Acres, Wm. Schober Sons, Inc.
