Line Dancing for Beginners (Adult & Teen Program) – Wednesday, July 30, Aug. 6, 13 & 20 – 6:30 – 8 p.m. This program is being taught by Debbie Minatee. Space is limited. Please register.

“Caring and Sharing with Seniors” – Friday, July 11 – 11 a.m. Caring and Sharing is a fun time of social activities: puzzles, games, music, crafts, bingo, and more! We will meet on the second Friday of each month from 11-12 p.m. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.

Look for the following clubs back again in September: Adult Book Club (meets the last Tuesday of each month at 7), Teen/Tween Book Club (meets the second Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m.), Teen/Tween Writers’ Club (meets second Mondays of each month at 7 p.m.).

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, July 17, – 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time.

Teen Summer Reading Programs Wednesday afternoons – 4 p.m. Please register. Limited space available

Wednesday – July 9 – 4 p.m. Make your own soda. What do you know about soda? Learn fun facts and experiment with creating your own soda!

Wednesday – July 16 – 4 p.m. Join us in creating your own lava lamp and having fun with “radioactive” Jello.

Wednesday – July 23 – 4 p.m. Try your hand at beginner’s scanimation – (“moving” pictures – a technological art).

Wednesday, July 30 – 4 p.m. Summer Reading Party and Book Chat.

Teen Advisory Board – Join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Reading Buddy, work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities.

Do you enjoy writing? Write reviews and/or create quarterly teen newsletters. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

All Ages: FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog for a 15 minute time slot – This month’s dates will be Mondays, July 7 & 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. Permission slips are required.

Science Comes Alive with the Traveling Aquarium – Tuesday, July 15 – 2 p.m. – Library Meeting room

Dr. Neff’s Incredible Puppet Show – “The Maltese Owl” – Tuesday, July 29 – 6:30 p.m. – Bethesda Hall – Interactive Show – Help solve the mystery.

Magic show with Magic by Ed & End-of-Summer-Reading Party – Thursday, July 31 – 2 p.m. – Bethesda Hall – Enjoy a fun and entertaining magic show. Enjoy snacks, too, to celebrate the end of Summer Reading. 1st-6th grade: Please register for all programs – space is limited.

Make your own Tangram Story – Tuesday, July 8 – 2 p.m. What Tangram can you make? Can you use your Tangrams and create a story?

Make and race paper airplanes – Thursday, July 10 – 6:30 p.m.

Spiderific – presented by Rutger’s Cooperative – Monday, July 14 – 2 p.m. Learn all about spiders and their webs.

Create your own pop-up stories – Monday, July 14 – 6:30 p.m.

Create your own silly robots out of recycled materials – Tuesday, July 22 – 2 p.m.

Learn science the fun way – Science Experiment Stations – Thursday, July 24 – 6:30 p.m. Go from “station-to-station”, trying out different science experiments. Make a butterfly feeder – Monday, July 28 – 2 p.m.

Toddlers & Babies: Please register for all programs – space is limited Hungry Caterpillar – Presented by Rutger’s Cooperative – Wednesday, July 9 – 10:30 a.m. Learn about the life of caterpillars, insects, produce, and nutrition.

Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, July 8, 15, 22 & 29). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.

Story Time – Wednesday mornings story time meets at 10:30 a.m. July dates are July 23 & 30) – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursday, July 17 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s dates are Thursdays, July 10 & 24 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Homework and Reading Buddies – The Reading Buddy Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children for help with learning English, help with phonics and reading skills, and help with Math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a reading buddy during the 2013-2014 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a reading buddy should also contact the library.
