FRAZURE – William B. Frazure (Bill, aka Curly), age 80, of Woolwich Township passed away on July 20 in Woodbury after a long battle with cancer.
Employed with NJ Bell for 35 years, he held positions of increasing responsibility before enjoying a long retirement.
Bill was devoted to his family, enjoyed working with his hands, including wood carving, gardening, birding, and raising a variety of animals.
He was an avid sportsman and had a passion for everything outdoors.
His sense of humor and fun loving nature will be missed by family and friends.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Judith Frazure (nee Leisy), and his children Todd, Douglas, Susan (Husband Jim Bylund), Laure (partner Mark Campbell), and by his brother Joseph Frazure (wife Maryellen).

BELLOCCHIO – Patricia Joan Bellocchio (McCleary), age 72 of Mullica Hill joined the Blessed Mother after battling cancer, on July 22. She was born Dec. 24, 1941 in Philadelphia. Survived by husband Anthony Bellocchio. Devoted mother of Susan Donavan (Brian), Joseph (Cheryl), Mark, Caroline Bellocchio Jugo (Dalmir), stepson Sandy Bellocchio, and predeceased by son Michael Bellocchio. Cherished grandmother of Shane, Toni, Joseph, Matthew, Michael, Brittany, Anthony, Michael, Rose Marie. Great grandmother of five. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Treasured sister to Rosie Santise and Elizabeth DeJesse. She loved spending time with family, traveling, and sharing her talent of cooking with all. She enjoyed practicing her faith especially as an avid member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, of Philadelphia.

NICHOLSON — Garth E. Nicholson, age 87 of Mullica Hill, born January 14, 1927 died on July 24. Survived by his wife of 65 years Beatrice K. (nee Kandle), daughter Nancy Winsor and son in law Dwight, granddaughter Grace Brown, great granddaughter Dianna Brown and great great grandson Dalton Brown. Garth attended Pitman High School and proudly served in the US Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a proud member of the Pioneer Sportsmen’s Club. DUPPER — Nancy Gleeson Dupper, 85. She was the archetype of a nurse and a Swedesboro girl through and through. Nancy graduated Swedesboro High in 1946 and went on to attend Copper Hospital School of Nursing where she found her true calling in administration; she was the assistant business editor of the yearbook and vice president of her class. As an administrator at Greenbrier Nursing home, Nancy insured patient care by making sure that everything was efficient and orderly. She’d finish out her career at the New Jersey Department of Health, inspecting nursing homes; Nancy received many recognitions. Later years found her traveling with friends and tour groups to warmer climates.
She was predeceased by her parents J. Clark Gleeson and Mildred Madara and her brother J. Clark Gleeson Jr.; survivors include her niece, Eileen Gleeson and nephew, Brian and their children.

HAY – Susan D. Hay (nee DuBois) of Mt. Royal, passed away peacefully at her home, with Bitzy at her side on July 30 at the age of 69.
A strong willed woman who defied the odds of her doctors, Susan always thought of others before she thought of herself. She was always one for a bargain and enjoyed bowling and line dancing with her sisters. Susan cherished the times spent at the beach and had a knack for games such as Skee Ball and the Crane Game.
Born in Camden, Susan graduated from Paulsboro High School and the Cooper Nursing School. Prior to retiring in 2012, Susan was a school aid and librarian at the Friends School in Mullica Hill for over 20 years.
Susan’s family asks that we focus on the celebration of Susan’s life by wearing beach apparel and bright colors.

COOPER – Raymond F. Cooper, Jr. (Sonny), 70, of Swedesboro passed away July 31. Born in Darby, PA. He was a graduate of St. James High School, Chester, PA Class of ’61. He resided in Swedesboro for the past five years coming from Woodlynn, PA. Sonny was employed by the Delaware County Courthouse, Media, PA in the shipping-receiving department and had worked for Congoleum, Marcus Hook for 22 years. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, a 4th degree member of K of C, Santa Anna Chapter, E. Landsdowne, PA, a volunteer firefighter in Folcroft, PA, and a 20 year volunteer at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Landsdowne, PA. He was a devoted family man who loved traveling and fishing and an avid sports fan for all Philly teams.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia (nee McFadden), his children, Donna (Larry) Geitzer, Mary Jeanne Cooper, and John (Melanie) Bistline. He was Pop Pop to John, Briana, Michael, Grace, Christina, and Michelle. Brother to Barbara Gannon, Gary Cooper, and the late Thomas Cooper. Also several nieces and nephews.

RIDGWAY – Catherine T. Ridgway (nee Schmahl) aged 96 passed away peacefully on Aug. 2 at the Cypress Glen Retirement Community in Greenville, NC. She was a long time resident of South Harrison Township. Born in Detroit Michigan, she was the daughter of Carl and Elizabeth (Pschirer) Schmahl. Catherine and her parents lived in Michigan, California, and Ohio before moving to New Jersey. She was employed by the Whitman Chocolate Co. and Singer Sewing Co. in Salem and Woodbury. She was an excellent seamstress and made clothes for her family and many others. Later she became the principal library assistant in the Savitz Library at Glassboro State College (Rowan University) from which she retired in 1978. Catherine was a member of the Mullica Hill Friends Meeting, the Mullica Hill Woman’s Club and was a life Member of the Mullica Hill Grange #51, the Gloucester County Pomona Grange #8, the New Jersey State Grange, and the Harrison Township Historical Society. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Avis Ridgway, son Robert John Ridgway, sister Elizabeth Geri and brother John Mallinger. She is survived by her children, son Richard C. and daughter-in-law Barbara Ridgway, daughter Avis E. and son-in-law William Kneller and son Ronald J. and daughter-in-law Bonnie Ridgway; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

MYERS – Wayne Rodger Myers, 72, of Repaupo, Logan Township, passed on Aug. 2. A life resident of Logan Township. He graduated from Paulsboro High school, 1960. He was married to Frances Lee Herring for 41 years. Wayne was a Lab Tech at the former BF Goodrich Plant in Pedricktown for 35 years and retired in 1999. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish and Repaupo Volunteer Fire Company for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, loved telling stories, and his 5 grandchildren.
Wayne was predeceased by his wife Frances and his parents, Lewis and Gertrude (Gertie Reistle) Myers. He is survived by his children, Kimberly (Brian) McDonough, Keith (Tina) and Kip (Christine). His grandchildren, Brian, Charles, Jack, Olivia and Matthew. His brother Edward (Catherine) Myers.

SMITH — Etta (nee Stevenson) Smith, 85 of Coatesville, PA passed away on Aug. 10. Born in Gibbstown, she graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1947. After 19 years being a wife and mother she decided to return to school to become a registered nurse. She graduated from Gloucester County College in 1971 with an RN degree. She enjoyed working most of her career at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury.
Etta and her husband, Nolan met in high school and were married for over 66 years. They relocated to Harrison Senior Living in Coatesville, PA three years ago to be closer to their eldest son. Living at HSL has been enjoyable but not Etta’s “New Jersey” home. She and Nolan lived “at the top of the hill” on Kings Highway, Mickleton for 55 years.
Etta was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie (nee Moehring) and Walter Stevenson; three brothers: Benjamin “Benny”; Walter “Bub” and Ervin “Lolly” Stevenson.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons, Edward (Darlene) of Gap, PA and Nolan A. Smith of Houston, TX, three grandsons and one granddaughter: Gary (Riann) Smith of Ann Arbor, MI; Christopher (Tammy) Smith of Pine Hill, NJ; Darren (Keri) Smith of Houston, TX and Melissa Smith of Seattle, WA, seven great grandchildren: Christopher, Austin, Nicolas, Audrey, Caleb, Kaitlyn and Emma and three sisters, Rosalie Stefka of Mickleton, NJ; Doris Wilkins of Sewell, NJ and Elsie Fetzer of Burien, WA.
The family would like to thank everyone at Harrison Senior Living, Coatesville for their compassion, smiles and especially their hugs. Holisticare Hospice was a blessing for both Etta and her family during the past two weeks. They made passing from the earthly world to the Godly world a peaceful one.
As requested by Etta there was no Memorial Service. She will be cremated and her remains will be held by the family until the time that her husband passes. At that date Etta and Nolan’s cremains will be buried together at Eglington Memorial Gardens, Clarksboro.

ORR-BOTHWELL – Nancy Orr-Bothwell, RN MSN passed peacefully during the night at her home in Clarksboro after a yearlong struggle with cancer.
Nancy was the devoted daughter of Marion and Mary Pearce. Nancy started life’s journey in Galena, MD in 1948. After graduating high school where she was head majorette of the renowned Galena High School Band, she lived in Rock Hall MD for 30 years, dedicating her life to raising her family and supporting a wide variety of friends. At age 46 she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a few years later graduated with her Masters in Nursing. Filled with compassion she excelled at nursing and married her new love Butch in 2002. Together they enjoyed traveling and setting up their dream home in Florida.
Preceded in death by her younger brother Larry, she is survived by her husband Butch, brothers George and Rick their wives Jolene and Bridget, sons Greg, Scott, and Michael, eight grandchildren: Megan, Lauren, Caitlin, Jillian, Ashlyn, James, Mason, Annabella, and great granddaughter Cali.

FABRIZIO – Helen Eleanor Fabrizio, age 77, longtime resident of Mullica Hill, passed away quietly on Aug. 10, surrounded by loved ones.
Helen was the beloved wife, for 57 years, of Warren D. Fabrizio, with whom she operated their business, serving the community since 1966. Devoted mother of David C. (Kelly) of Monroeville, Richard J. (Sherri) of Glassboro, and Marianne F. (Wally) Eachus of Mullica Hill. Loving grandmother of Tiffany M.E. Terpstra (Carl Paulaitis) of Mullica Hill, Kimberly A. (Chris) Cascone of Barnegat, Eric M. SNYDER – Madia F. Snyder, age 88 years, of Mickleton, died Aug. 16 with her family by her side. Mrs. Snyder was born and raised in Morgantown, WV and later moved to Washington, DC where she met her husband. She retired as Administrative Assistant with Maryland Parks and Planning and in 2007 she moved to Mickleton to live closer to her son. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gibbstown Volunteer Fire Association and she enjoyed watching television in her spare time.
She is survived by her son, Al and Joan Silbaugh of Gibbstown; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Pete McDonald of Duluth, Minnesota and Tara and High Crowther of Mt. Royal; her great granddaughters, Caelin Crowther and Joanna Silbaugh. Mrs. Snyder was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Snyder and several brothers and sisters.
