EAST GREENWICH TWP. — On Sept. 10 through 13, several churches in the East Greenwich area will host a Tent Meeting/Old Time Revival Meeting.
This event is sponsored by four local churches – Angel Visit Baptist Church, Evangelical United Methodist Church, Zion Community United Methodist Church, and St. Paul United Methodist Church in Paulsboro.
Dr. Ira Frazier, chairman of the event, said, “During this time of political unrest, limited finances, family unrest, and frustration in life, we believe we have found hope and help through an active relationship with Jesus Christ.”
A variety of church leaders will be speaking each evening. The first evening (Sept. 10) will feature Rev. Dave Bailey from Ranch Hope. The second night (Sept. 11) will be led by Rev. James Venter, Pastor of Delaware Valley Baptist Church.
The third evening (Sept. 12) will include a time of healing and will be led by the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Conde-Frazier, Dean of Esperanza College in Philadelphia, and the concluding service (Sept. 13) will be led by Rev. Jim Hughes of Jim Hughes Ministries.
Services will take place at 7 p.m. at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 14 W. Cohawkin Road in Clarksboro. The tent will be located on the east side of the church and parking is available around the church.
