David & Sons Meats – A New Day For Gourmet In Woolwich

N0685570.epsWOOLWICH TWP. – David Wiederholt, one of Philadelphia’s top chefs has finally bought his craft and passion for gourmet cuisine home to South Jersey.
Chef David, most recently Executive Chef Partner with The Capital Grille in Philadelphia, knows a thing or two about sourcing and preparing Prime, Dry Aged meat. Wiederholt however is not limited to just the high end steak house, he has helmed some of the best and busiest kitchens in Philadelphia, New York and an San Francisco, including Buddakan, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Butcher and Singer, Union Square Café, and many more.
The menu at David & Sons will bring together some of Chef David’s favorite dishes as well as a diverse mix of classic and new. Slow smoked St. Louis style ribs, cedar planked salmon, Chef David’s Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and more.
“The cuisine at David & Sons ties in everything I have worked to build and learn over my entire culinary career spanning some of the net restaurants across several states,” stated Wiederholt. “My vision will be to bring prime dry aged meats, fresh sustainable seafood, slow smoked BBQ, as well as extraordinary cuisine, locally sourced organics, and executed with time tested techniques.”
Chef David added that his menu will include his award winning burger blends and hand crafted sausage specialties.
David & Sons will be located at 120 Center Square Road, near JB Liquors and will serve Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast will be added soon with fresh doughnuts, gourmet coffee and more.
