Adult Book Club – Meets the last Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. This month’s date is Tuesday, Dec. 30. The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty will be December’s selection.
Tween/Teens:
Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – Exercise your creativity and join other tween/teens on the second Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. Make this set time be your time to devote to writing and sharing (if you desire to do so). Different types of writing techniques, writing tips, and writing ideas will be available. This month’s date is Monday, Dec. 8, 7 p.m.
Teen/Tween Book Club – Enjoy some great reads and discussions on the 2nd Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m. This month’s date is Thursday, Dec. 11. The selection will be Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Dec. 18–6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!
Teen Advisory Board – Our Teen Advisory Board needs energetic teens to be a Reading Buddy, work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Write reviews and/or create quarterly teen newsletters. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.
All Ages:
FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog for a 15 minute time slot – This month’s dates will be Monday, Dec. 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. Permission slips are required.
4th-6th grade:
Amazing Math Club – 1st Thursdays of each month. This month’s date is Thursday, Dec. 4, 7 p.m.

Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! We meet on Tuesday
mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Dec. 9, 16, 23, & 30). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.
Story Time – Wednesday mornings story time meets at 10:30 am. December’s dates are Dec. 10 & 17–Library meeting Room. Registration required.
Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursdays, Dec. 4 & 18 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s date is Thursday, December 11 – 10:30 am. Registration required.
Homework and Reading Buddies – The Reading Buddy Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children for help with learning English, help with phonics and reading skills, and help with Math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a reading buddy during the 2013-2014 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a reading buddy should also contact the library.
The library will be closed at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 24 for Christmas Eve. The library will not be open on Thursday, December 25 – Christmas Day. The library will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31 for New Year’s Eve.
