Youth Programs

New Jersey Makers Day Saturday, Mar. 21, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. All ages. Join us for a demonstration from the Lunabots, our Lego Robotics team. Build your own creation with our various size Legos. Make a craft or try out the items on our Maker Cart. A fun time for the whole family.

Baby’s Way to Books – Mondays, March 16, 23 & 30, 10:15–10:45 a.m. Ages birth– 2 years old.

Toddler Time – Mondays, March 16, 23 & 30, 11-11:30 a.m. Fridays, March 6, 13, & 20, 10:15-10:45 a.m. Ages 2-3 years old.

Preschool Storytime – Fridays, March 6, 13, & 20, 11–11:30 a.m. Ages 4-5 years old.

Music Time – Wednesdays, March 11, 18 & 25, 11–11:30 a.m. Ages 0-5.

FURever as Friends Reading Program – Tuesdays, March 17, 6:30–7:30 p.m. Please sign up for 10-minute time slot. One-time permission slip required.

Lego Night – Tuesday, March 10, 6:30–7:30 p.m. All ages.

Minecraft Club! – Thursday, March 12, 4–5. Ages 6–12 years old. Bring your own device and have an account already set up. Work as teams in creative mode to complete a building challenge.

Coding Club – Thursday, March 19, 4–5 p.m. Ages 8 and up. Class is limited to 14; please register. Please bring your own device, if possible.

Teen Craft: Book Page Wreath – Tuesday, March 31, 6:30–8 p.m. Ages 13–17. Teens will be making a wreath out of old book pages.

March “Book” Madness – Stop in weekly to vote for your favorite books and watch each week to see which books advance and which ones are eliminated. Prizes awarded each week.

GCLS Chess Club- Mondays, 6-8:45 p.m. All ages, all skill levels, USCF rated club.
