Lori Stecher of Clarksboro, a hospital orderly, was chosen by Inspira Medical Center Woodbury as the Employee of the Month for December. She was recognized for her work ethic, positive attitude, and outstanding job performance. As an orderly who responds to needs throughout the hospital on weekends, her busy shift includes transporting patients for tests, the MRI, and to new rooms; getting supplies needed by the nurses and aides; helping the aides whenever she can; and interacting with patients. “I believe that Inspira Woodbury has an amazing team effort,” says Stecher. “And due to this team filled with outstanding, loving and dedicating people, we are able to shine.” Now a nursing student at Rowan College at Gloucester County, Stecher notes that the weekend house orderly position fit perfectly with her family and school commitments. This proud mother of three, Zachary, 18; Maverick, 13; and Kiera, 5, notes that when she’s not working studying, activities with her children and her boyfriend Dan and his son Dan, 16, are her priority.
Caitlin A. Hemdal and Inga E. Wu of Swedesboro have recently been named to the Dean’s List at Boston University for the Fall semester.
Janet Mayani, RN, of East Greenwich Township, was named as the recipient of the DAISY Award for her exceptional and unwavering commitment to personally connecting with the patients and caregivers at Cancer Treatment Centers of AmericaÒ (CTCA) Eastern Regional Medical Center.
