CLARKSBORO — On May 14 the Mickleton Garden Club will hold its 70th annual flower show at the Zion Community Church from 2 to 6 p.m.
Visitors to the flower show can expect to see horticultural entries and creative floral designs. There will be plants for sale from local nurseries as well as member’s own gardens. This year native plants will be featured for sale as well.
There will be raffles, refreshments and a pantry shop for those who wish to bring goodies home.
In keeping with the 70’s Flower Power theme, there will have a small terrarium workshop. For a small fee visitors can create their own terrariums to bring home.
Admission is free.
The location is the Zion Community Church at 242 Kings Hwy in Clarksboro, NJ.
The Mickleton Garden Club has been going strong for almost 75 years. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.
In addition to the annual Flower Show, members enjoy an annual trip. This year’s trip is to Longwood Gardens. Interested new members can contact Pam Coumbe at 609-516-2098 or Margaret Calafato at 856-224-4747.
