WOOLWICH TWP. — Is your idea of fun to spin around as fast as you possibly can? If so, you will want to try out Locke Avenue Fun Day’s newest ride, the “Mindwinder” at this year’s Locke Avenue Fun Day on May 30 from 1 to 9 p.m..
Maybe you’d rather challenge yourself on a 24 foot Rockwall? You can do that at Fun Day as well. If you’d much rather sit and listen to some great music, there are two stages full of entertainment all day.
There will be a fantastic firework display capping off this wonderful event. Local food, craft, and business vendors will be set up throughout the park. There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides, mechanical rides and bounces for kids.
The Kingsway Baseball Dugout Club will be hosting a homerun derby at 6 p.m. Sign-ups will take place immediately before the event.
Your well behaved leashed dog is also welcome to Locke Avenue Fun Day. FURever As Friends will host three different dog contests.
If your dog has the waggiest tail in all of Woolwich, is the best kisser in all of Swedesboro, or can dance with you, enter them for a chance to win some wonderful prizes.
