WOOLWICH TWP. – The Woolwich Township Police Department will be taking part in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Sept. 26. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., anyone can drop off old or unused prescription medications for safe disposal.
The goal of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. The drop off is free and anonymous. No liquids or sharps are accepted.
If you miss this night, residents can still drop medication off to Woolwich Police throughout the year.
