Adults:
Beginning sewing classes for adults – Wednesdays, Sept. 9, 16, 23, and 30 – 6:30 p.m. Learn beginning sewing skills.

Adult Book Club – Our adult book club meets on the last Tuesday of each month. In September we will be discussing The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd. Our first meeting date will be Tuesday, Sept. 29 – 7 p.m.
Tween/Teens:
Teen/Tween Book Club – Thursday, Sept. 10 – 7 p.m. Join our fun discussion group and read some great selections! Bring a friend.
Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – Monday, Sept. 14 – 7 p.m. If you love writing, need new ideas, like sharing ideas/stories/poems, and/or learning new writing techniques and types of writing – this club is for you. Your writing could be part of our new quarterly teen/tween literary magazine, Teen Express. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.
Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, Sept. 17 – 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!
Anime Club – Monday, September 28 – 4 p.m. Enjoy like-minded lovers of Anime and Manga. View an Anime movie, play Yugioh and Pokémon, trade cards, and/or draw Manga characters. Feel free to dress in character. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.
Teen Advisory Board – We welcome teens to join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Literacy Buddy and work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Learn to write reviews and create a quarterly teen newsletter. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.
Children:
FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog for a 15 minute time slot – This month’s date will be Monday, Sept. 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. Permission slips are required.
Coding – Learn beginning Computer Coding Skills with Scratch – Monday, Sept. 21 – 4 p.m.
Maker Space days – Staff will surprise children with a project from our Maker Space cart! Best suited for 1st through 6th grade. Be checking our September calendar for dates.
Toddlers & Babies:
Tuesday Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (Tuesdays, Sept. 8, 15, 22, & 29). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.
Wednesday Story Time – Wednesday morning story time meets at 10:30 a.m. September’s dates are Sept. 9, 16, 23, & 30 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.
Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursdays, Sept. 3 & 17 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s date is Thursdays, Sept. 10, & 24 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Literacy Buddies – The Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children learning English, phonics and reading skills, and math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a literacy buddy during the 2013-2014 school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a literacy buddy, please contact the library.
