Hoffman DiMuzio Community “Gift of the Heart” Scholarships increased

magick-9527PSLFg3ySa4MsWOODBURY — Interim Gloucester and Salem County Superintendent of Schools Peggy Nicolosi is pleased to announce the expansion of the Hoffman DiMuzio Community Service Scholarship Foundation, LLC. to include Salem County this year in addition to the Gloucester County scholarship program that was first established last year.

What this means for the students within these counties is that the law firm of Hoffman DiMuzio has increased their scholarship fund to more than one third of a million dollars, allowing more students to receive this award.

Specifically, for the next 10 years, two graduating students, one male and one female, from each of the Gloucester County high schools and commencing this year, the Salem County high schools as well, who have consistently given a “Gift of the Heart,” will be selected by their schools to receive the Hoffman DiMuzio Community Service Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each.

The Hoffman DiMuzio Community Service Scholarship Foundation seeks to reward those service-oriented students who throughout their four years of high school have shown a passion for helping others, both within the classroom and within the community.

By awarding these scholarships, the law firm of Hoffman DiMuzio hopes to encourage students to give their Gift of the Heart to others and to follow their passions for the greater good!

On Feb., 14, 2016 Nicolosi will officially announce the 2016 “Gift of the Heart” Hoffman DiMuzio Community Service Award recipients.

To receive an application, see the scholarship department within your Gloucester or Salem County School.
