MULLICA HILL — On Dec. 5, Mullica Hill Mayor Lou Manzo, members of the Economic Development Committee, patients, friends and family all came out to welcome Dr. Jason Raines to the community.
This accomplished dentist not only brings a high level of professionalism but a flexible approach to helping residents get the treatment they need. Raines provides general and cosmetic dentistry for mid-teens and up, with a focus on delivering the most up-to-date technology.
“I have always found it is important to carefully listen to a patient, whether they are telling you what they’ve experienced in the past or what their fear and anxiety is. I reassure them and do all I can to make them comfortable. It’s important for patients to understand that they have some control in the process. A comfortable office is also important so patients can start their visit feeling relaxed.” said Raines.
Raines provides comprehensive dental services that include veneers, clear braces, root canals, teeth whitening, restoration of implants, white (tooth-colored) fillings, dentures, partial dentures, crowns, bridges, extractions, digital X-rays and emergency treatment. Even though the office has just recently opened, the response from the community has been outstanding.
Dr. Raines said, “It is my goal to deliver dental care in a pain-free, pleasant, and gentle manner. I’m passionate about helping people develop positive, proactive attitudes toward their own dental health for now and in their future.”
The doctor received his bachelor’s degree in genetics from Rutgers University, his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, and completed his general practice residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has practiced in both a hospital clinical setting as well as in a private practice office.
