“Millions of people are coping with the impacts of physical, mental, and emotional trauma,” states Gadson. “As we begin the New Year, I want to empower anyone who has been hurt so that they can transform that pain into purpose and their trials into triumphs.”

Released: In Search of a King is about a young woman named Mimi Combs, coping with the impacts of being sexually assaulted by her father as a child. Her journey is riddled with obstacles and detours; but she finds her path towards inner healing.

“Mimi learns that betrayal serves one of two outcomes: to make us or break us,” states Gadson.  “Ultimately, we possess the power to decide if we will be a victim to it or victorious over it.”

Released: In Search of a King is Gadson’s debut novel.  Gadson is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. Along with the novel, Gadson will be releasing a companion workbook outlining steps to enable the healing process, and hosting a series of workshops on inner healing in early 2016.

Released: In Search of a King is available at www.amazon.com and www.surrenderedpen.com.

Gadson is a writer, blogger, and entrepreneur. She is also a trainer, speaker and workshop facilitator.  She is the founder of SurrenderedPen, a publishing company on a mission to publish life changing books, articles, and other written media in the fiction and non-fiction arenas.
