“My Home Town” Photo Contest Now Underway

WOOLWICH TWP. – Keep your cameras focused because the next New Town Press Photo Contests is under way. The theme of this contest is “My Home Town”.

Original pictures taken of scenery and events from Swedesboro, Woolwich, Logan, East Greenwich, South Harrison, Mullica Hill, and Auburn can be submitted. Show everyone what you find special about this area.

Photographs should be a minimum of 300 dpi and emailed in a jpg format to editor@newtownpress.com. Please attach the photographs as well as embed the photographs in your email message.

In the email message, state where the photographs were taken, your name, address, and phone number, and state that the photographs are your own original, and have not been retouched or altered.

There is no limit on the number of entries that can be submitted, but only the top entries selected by the editor will be displayed online for voting. The winning photograph will be displayed in The New Town Press and the winning photographer will receive $25.

Deadline for entries is July 15. Voting will begin Aug.5 and end Aug. 19. The winning photograph will appear on the September 2016 issue.

Keep your camera handy because you never know when the perfect picture will pop up.
