Adults:

Sewing for adults – Sewing dates in April are Tuesdays, April 12 & 19 and Wednesday, April 20 – 6 p.m. The classes will focus on basic quilting. All supplies will be provided. Beginners and more advanced sewers are welcome. Space is limited. Must be registered.

Jewelry MakingWednesday, April 13 – 6 p.m. Join us for jewelry making with Janice. Space is limited. Must be registered at www.gcls.org.

Adult Book Club – Join us for our adult book club that meets on the last Tuesday of each month. This month’s selection will be Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. April’s date is Tuesday, April 26 – 7 p.m. Call 856-467-0111 for more information. Must be registered for each class as space is limited.  Register at www.gcls.org.

Tween/Teens:

Teen/Tween Writers’ Club – Monday, April 11- 7 p.m. If you love writing, need new ideas, like sharing ideas/stories/poems, and/or learning new writing techniques and types of writing – this club is for you. Your writing could be part of our new quarterly teen/tween literary magazine, Teen Express. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.

Teen/Tween Book Club – Thursday, April 14 – 7 p.m. Join our fun discussion group and read great selections! Bring a friend.

Coding – Learn how to create games using Java Script – Monday, April 18 – 4 p.m. Space is limited. Please register.

Teen/Tween Gaming – Join us Thursday, April 21 – 6:30 p.m. Play Xbox, Wii, DS’s, and traditional board and card games. Bring a friend and have a great time!

Anime ClubMonday, April 25 – 4:30 p.m. Enjoy like-minded lovers of Anime and Manga. View an Anime movie, play Yugioh and Pokémon, trade cards, and/or draw Manga characters. Feel free to dress in character. Call 856-467-0111 for more information.

Teen Time – Check out flyers and online calendar for scheduled teen times. Teen Times is a time for teens to gather in the meeting room and play music, eat snacks they have bought, use the laptops, dance, or just hang out.

Teen Advisory Board – We welcome teens to join our Teen Advisory Board. Be a Literacy Buddy and work with children, learn library skills, or help plan teen activities. Do you enjoy writing? Learn to write reviews and create a quarterly teen newsletter. Call 467-0111 for information on how you can volunteer or become an active member.

Children:

FURever As Friends – Register your child to read to a trained therapy dog or cat for a 15 minute time slot – This month’s dates will be Mondays, April 4 & 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please register by calling 467-0111 or at the library. If it’s your first time, please stop at the circulation desk.

Amazing Math Club (STEM)Thursday, April 7 – 7 p.m. 4th to 6th graders are invited the first Mondays of each month – math games, challenges, vocabulary, and more!

Toddlers & Babies:

Tuesday Story Time – Story Time is a fun time! Hear stories, sing songs, make a craft! We meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am (Tuesdays, April 5, 12, 19, & 26). Story Time is best suited for children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years of age. Registration required.

Wednesday Story Time – Join the fun Wednesday morning story times. Wednesday morning story time meets at 10:30 a.m. April’s dates are April 6, 13, 20, & 27 – Library meeting Room. Registration required.

Baby Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Bring your baby to a fun time of music – familiar songs, activities and fingerplays. Baby Time will be held on Thursdays, April 7 & 21 – 10:30 a.m. Registration required.

Toddler Music Time – “Sing, Dance, and Play” – Your toddler will enjoy a fun time marching, playing instruments, learning fingerplays, and singing familiar songs. This month’s dates are Thursdays, April 14 & 28 – 10:30 a.m. Registration is required as space is limited.

Literacy Buddies – The Literacy Program provides one-on-one assistance to children learning English, phonics and reading skills, and math and Language Arts. Children interested in having a literacy buddy during the school year should contact the library at 467-0111. Teens interested in being a literacy buddy, please contact the library.
