The 12th Annual New Jersey Cup

2THE SOUTH JERSEY ELITE BARONS 99′ BOYS won the NJ Cup on May 8. The Barons have players from the South Jersey area including Brady Hochman of Clarksboro, Preston Baughman of Mickleton, and Zach Garcia of Woolwich Township. The NJ cup is a 64 team single elimination soccer tournament that is played over several months. The Barons won five games during the run to the championship. The final was played against TSF. After no score in regulation and overtime, the game went to a penalty kick shoot-out. The Barons won 3-1 in the shoot-out to take the Championship. Next, the team will represent New Jersey at the National Championships in Aurora, Colorado in July.
