SWEDESBORO — Trinity “Old Swedes” Episcopal Church will hold its first Vacation Bible School this August.
“Barnyard Roundup” will be very interactive and so much fun. Be sure to save the dates, Sunday, Aug. 7 through Thursday, Aug. 11. Register early to save your spot.
Things will be kicked off on Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a picnic, farm animals, games and an introduction to our lessons for the week. On Monday to Thursday, the program will start at 6 p.m. and finish at 8:30 p.m. in our Parish Hall. A snack will be served during this time.
All children from 3 years and up through fifth grade are invited to participate. A nursery will be available for our helpers who have small ones under 3 years of age.
Older children are encouraged to come and be helpers. There is no cost to attend but offerings will be taken up during the week which will go towards our mission project.
Please join in as everyone gathers together to learn from God’s Word. Barnyard Roundup VBS is a “farm-tastic” week where kids learn how Jesus cares, provides, and leads us. He gathers us together now and forever, no matter what.
Jesus’ love will be brought to life through Bible stories, crafts, music and games. The church is so excited to be offering this to the community this year.
To register, please call the church office at 856-467-1227 or email Ann Blackman at mapleleaf_woman@yahoo.com. Space is limited, please register early.
See you at “Barnyard Roundup” in August. Bring a friend.
