Judaism and the Afterlife Program, April 27

judiasm webMULLICA HILL — Rabbi Jordan Gendra will present “Judaism and the Afterlife,” a free, one-hour program at the Gloucester County Library in Mullica Hill on April 27 at 7 p.m.

The lecture will explore 4,000 years of Jewish thought on the afterlife and will cover traditional customs of funeral, burial, and shiva (mourning period), as well as the concepts of heaven and hell. Rabbi Gendra is the rabbi at Congregation B’nai Tikvah-Beth Israel in Sewell.
