MULLICA HILL — Shops will be decked out in fall splendor for our 48th annual Fall Open House on Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or later, and Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visit Main Street in Mullica Hill to see all the new shops that have come to the street this year. The Parsonage is a great new antique co-op, next to Canary Row who just celebrated a one year anniversary. Both have booths with different dealers offering a wide range of goods.
Flossy’s brings a funky vibe to things with clothing, jewelry and home accents. Le Jardin is a wonderful hidden cottage behind Flossy’s with all things garden related. Herbs, plants and tools here for the “picking”.
Blue Plate is expanding and making room for more seating and event space, while Mademoiselle Macaron, our French bakery, has wonderful tea parties in the garden.
A Civil War Living History will be set up at Church Street with a Union camp behind Sisters at 39 S. Main Street with life as it was, weapons displays, and open fire cooking.
They really stay here all weekend. Come hear our nation’s history and get hands on, up close and personal view. At 7 p.m. Saturday night only will be a free guided lantern tour of the camps starting at the Union camp and ending with evening canon fire.
Also included in the free events that weekend is a Harry Potter event. Just a taste to see what is to come for next year’s event. There will be games, potions and prizes all weekend.
Music, BBQ, vendors, face painting and more will line our streets. Farm House Design turns 17 with a Harvest Party.
Free pumpkin painting for the kids. Ghost walk Saturday night only with tickets purchased at limited shops.
Shops will be open late and feature open house events. There is still a little room for vendors. Call 856-223-5440 or go to www.mullicahill.com.
