Mega Job Fair scheduled for March 23

DEPTFORD — Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Heather Simmons announced that the first Mega Job Fair of 2018 will be held on Friday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at Rowan College at Gloucester County. There are already 63 employers who will be attending and that number is anticipated to grow.

The Mega Job Fair is designed to help county residents find employment by interacting with various businesses to learn what positions they have open and what type of employees they are looking for.

To prepare for the Mega Job Fair, the county is offering residents a free job workshop where attendees will be able to learn skills from experts such as landing a job with an effective resume, social media techniques, and job fair strategies.

Dates for free job workshops include: Friday, March 2, 10 to 11:30 a.m., Rowan College at Gloucester County, University Center, Room 901, 1400 Tanyard Rd., Sewell; and Monday, March 5, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Mullica HiIl Library, 389 Wolfert Station Rd., Mullica Hill.
