“Laws of Separation and Divorce” — Join Family Law Attorney Jeffery Kerstetter, Esq. to learn what to expect if you are facing a separation or divorce. Court proceedings, timing, grounds for divorce and setting goals will be discussed. He will also cover issues including equitable distribution, custody, visitation and alimony, among other concerns. This workshop will be held on Monday, March 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.
“Retirement Savings Challenges for Women” — Women are generally given more years on this earth than their male counterparts, but that gift of longevity requires planning for those additional chapters of life. Financial Advisor Monique Castillo will discuss the challenges that women face when planning for retirement and strategies to overcome them. A workbook will be provided to enable you to put into practice what you have learned and continue being proactive as you move towards your retirement years. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.
“Identifying Unhealthy Relationships to Create Healthier Ones” — Jessica Jolly, Associate Professor of Psychology, knows that while relationships play a major role in our lives, many of us do not recognize the unhealthy patterns that can develop within those relationships. Her workshop will help you identify patterns that may be derailing you, and help you start down the path to relationship success. She will provide you with clear strategies to: make conscious choices about your relationships, understand what to expect from other people, let go of past let-downs and unhelpful thinking patterns, develop open communication with partners and gain clarity on the healthy and unhealthy components of your relationship connections. This workshop is sponsored by Heart of South Jersey and will be held on Wednesday, March 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.
“Computer File Management” — In today’s workforce, file management is no longer just for paper files – it is just as important to keep electronic files organized and up-to-date to ensure the information you need is easily accessible. Lauri Kuder, Microsoft Office Manager, will teach you the basics of electronic file management including how to save, rename and rearrange documents, and how to create folders to keep information organized. This workshop is sponsored by Heart of South Jersey and will be held on Wednesday, March 28, from 6 to 9 p.m.
