PEDRICKTOWN — Come one, come all, ladies and girls 12 and older, that is. First Baptist Church at Pedricktown is offering a time of fellowship, faith, good entertainment, and yummy desserts just in time for a Mother’s Day outing.
On Friday, May 11 at 7 p.m., chalk artist Cathy Patnovic from Newark, Delaware will present a unique blend of black-light chalk artistry and visual Bible teaching, holding a great message behind each beautiful presentation that reaches into the heart.
This unique art form employs specially formulated chalk which contains chemicals that glow under ultraviolet light. At the conclusion of the drawing, special lighting reveals a previously hidden picture.
The picture fades between the chalk drawing as seen under normal lighting and the hidden picture as it appears under special ultraviolet lighting.
We invite all to attend for an evening of artistry and good food. An awesome dessert table will be part of the enjoyment of the evening, too, presented by the Italian Kitchen.
Bring family and friends. Bring a group from your church. Bring yourself. This event is free to attend, but you are invited to give a Love Offering for the artists.
