Austin H. Schober of East Greenwich Township and a Kingsway Regional High School Alumni, has graduated with honors from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Systems Engineering. He is the youngest son of Richard and Patricia Schober. On his graduation day, May 25, 2018, he was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy. Schober was the recipient of the 2016-17 Leadership Award given by Commandant of Midshipmen, and during his 1C fall semester, he served as 29th Company Commander for 150 Midshipmen. Schober will be reporting to Pensacola, Florida for flight school post graduation.
Sarah Reynolds, an English Secondary Education major from Swedesboro, has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most widely recognized academic honor society, through the Delta of New Jersey chapter at The College of New Jersey.
Liz Shaffer of Swedesboro was honored by The United Way of Gloucester County (UWGC) at its annual Volunteer Leadership Event in May with its Spirit of United Way Award. Shaffer is employed at GGB Bearing Technology in West Deptford. She and fellow employee and honoree Tara Levitt team up to raise awareness of the United Way of Gloucester County at their workplace.
Kyle Soldevilla of Woolwich Township, Health Science (BS)/Occupational Therapy (MS), BSMS, graduated from Misericordia University during the annual spring commencement ceremony on May 12.
