“BIRDS OF PRAY” BOOK SIGNING, SEPT. 9

WOOLWICH TWP. – Sharptown North Church will be hosting a book signing and question and answer session with the author of the newly released “Birds of Pray”, Rob Maaddi, after their 10 a.m. worship service at the Woolwich Township Building on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The book gives behind the scenes details of how the Philadelphia Eagles overcame many obstacles to become Super Bowl Champions last year and how they factor playing for an audience of One as the key to that success. The foreword is written by Carson Wentz and Maaddi has also received accolades from Zach Ertz, Jordan Hicks, David Akers, Tony Dungy and Dan Orlovsky.

Philly native and Associated Press sports writer Rob Maaddi reveals a side of the team the world has yet to fully witness in this book and he will share much during the Q&A session at Sharptown North.

This is Maaddi’s seventh book. He also hosts Faith On The Field Show on 610 ESPN 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, you can find him on 97.5 FM The Fanatic on weekend mornings.

The event will also feature entertainment, refreshment, and time with Woolwich Township’s own Doug Horton who co-hosts Faith on the Field with Maaddi and is a co-founder of Goliathon, the obstacle course competition held for charity in the fall and spring in Mullica Hill. The signed books will be sold for $25 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to Sharptown North’s local community outreach ministries.
