REPAUPO – The Repaupo United Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Clarksboro may be a few miles apart but they have one thing in common – their pastors are husband and wife.

The Bible tells us about team ministry in many occasions. One of the notable examples of team ministry would be a husband-wife team ministry such as Aquila and Priscilla in Acts 18:2. Now there is a husband-wife team of pastors here.

Sung Woo (Aiden) Lee has been appointed Pastor of Evangelical United in Clarksboro, and his wife Ji Sun Yang has been appointed as Pastor of Repaupo United in Repaupo. The couple has been welcomed as members of the community residing in Clarksboro.

They bring with them years of experience in youth ministry and creating vibrant communities. Through the deep partnership between husband and wife, two local churches ministries in the town will bring new connectional growth and mutual support with the joint ministry to make a more significant impact on our community.

Pastor Aiden and Ji Sun will begin this fall with a sermon series on YOU BELONG HERE: CHURCH & HELPING THE NEXT GEN WIN. In a statement from the Methodist Greater New Jersey Conference, “Creating multi-cultural congregations is vital to our “Mission.” Pastors Lee and Yang represent the best and brightest of today’s ministry serving their congregations and our communities.”
