Aqua New Jersey To Repaint Woolwich Water Tower

HAMILTON, N.J. – Aqua New Jersey announced that beginning in October, Aqua will be inspecting and repainting the elevated sphere on Franklin Boulevard in Woolwich Township.

The elevated sphere will undergo minor upgrades to be in compliance with current safety standards and also will be painted on both the inside and outside. The project will give the tank a clean and presentable appearance for the Woolwich community and allow Aqua to continue to deliver safe and reliable water to customers.

The $800,00 project is scheduled to be complete in December of 2018.

“Aqua New Jersey’s top priority is to deliver safe, reliable drinking water and wastewater services to our customers,” said Aqua New Jersey President John Hildabrant. “Routine maintenance is important in order to maintain the highest quality service to our Woolwich customers.”

Aqua provides water and wastewater service to more than 174,000 people in 30 municipalities throughout New Jersey.
